Below are pictures of some of our pups that have gone to their new families. If you adopted a puppy or adult dog from us and want to see his or her picture on this page please send me an update and a picture!
Puppy from Yoshi and Shep: I hope you are well. I can't believe Ty is already 9 months old. He has been a "rockstar" of a pup and a wonderful addition to our family. I wanted to send you a recent picture of Ty in the big snow (we got over 24"), he LOVED it! He is a big fan of snow and would love nothing more than to be outside playing all day with the boys. Here is a pic, you are welcome to share, you can really see what a beautiful dog Ty is on the outside and on the inside he is an inquisitive sweet natured dog who loves to romp and play.
Puppy from Karma and Shep: If you are looking for a mini aussie look no further, Sheila is awesome and she raises great puppies. I found her website and she pretty well had me hooked. There was so much information and links to other places to research as well. I hadn’t thought very much about a natural tail but her information was compelling and now I can’t for the life of me figure out why anyone would dock puppy’s tails! I found a couple of breeders closer to my home who had puppies available but when I did as Sheila’s site suggested and asked about genetic testing, one got quite angry and the other gave me just the answers Sheila said they would, that they didn’t have that in their lines. Because of Sheila I felt informed and knew what to ask. When Karma had only (4) puppies and it looked like I was too far down the list, I told her I would wait for the next litter but that I wanted a puppy from her. I felt like I had won the lottery when she sent me a message that a puppy was available. She did so much to make Tilly into an absolutely perfect puppy. I decided on a name quite early and Sheila called her by name so when I picked her up she would already come when called. The numerous pictures and videos were so much fun, I was already in love before I picked Tilly up. I tried to be well prepared at home before I went to get Tilly but I really didn’t need to do a thing, Sheila gave me EVERYTHING I needed to transition this great little dog to home and spent time helping me and Tilly get to know each other and answered all my questions. The second day I was worried that the pup wasn’t eating enough and I called Sheila for help. She returned my call quickly, calmed my fears, and gave me great advice. To me that was really going above and beyond to still respond and take time to help after my puppy was home.
Puppy from Karma and Shep(pictured above with the kitty), Elke writes: "My partner and I live in New York, and we were expecting to get a puppy from a different breeder closer to our home, but when we went to pick her up we were so disappointed to find that we weren't comfortable supporting the breeder. The puppy was adorable and sweet, but the home, property, and people in charge did not feel right-- not to mention they had docked our puppy's tail after agreeing to leave it long. We left without the puppy we had spent weeks preparing for, feeling very disheartened. This led me to become somewhat insane about making sure the next breeder we found was phenomenal-- and this led us to Sheila! Other breeders will make you pick a puppy and pay for it before it turns 3 days old if you want to leave the tail on! Sheila leaves all the tails on (still can't fathom why everyone doesn't do this??), and gives her puppies to the homes where they will best fit in based on her knowledge of their temperaments.
I could go on for pages listing the ways she went above and beyond for our puppy, but you can also just read through the website-- she does everything she claims to do. We got endless photos and videos as the puppies grew, and an ENORMOUS care package when we took her home. She sat and talked with us for about two hours when we went to pick up the puppy, and was a fountain of knowledge and genius little tricks to make the transition smooth. She used to be a vet tech, so she has seen it all.
This puppy is already a better dog than any other dog I know. We have had her for a week and somehow she is already pee pad trained, knows her name, and can do "sit", "come", "drop it" and fetches toys and leaves them at your feet. She lets out about 3 barks a day. She has adapted so quickly to fit right in at our house-- she doesn't even blink when the doorbell rings or pots and pans clatter in the kitchen. She sleeps through the night (or at least plays silently). She's so sweet it's disgusting. I'm obsessed."
Puppy from Princess and Shep, Sheilah writes:
Attached are some pictures of Tonka I took today. Hopefully, there is something you can use. I will send you some more taken outside later this month if the snow ever melts. Tonka will be running single dog racing in NH on April 10 and he is entered in his first agility trial in NY being held on May 16-17. I will get someone to video tape and send them to you afterwards. He has turned out to be one amazing dog so far. He really is "great" which is what Tonka means in Sioux.
Puppy from Trixie and Shep Una writes: On the day we came to pick up Madison We were totally impressed with how you handled everything!! You can tell your doggies are not a business to you, they are an extension of the love you have for these babies!! You went above & beyond what you needed to do to make this easy & exciting for us as a family & most of all for the puppy we were going to be taking out of her only home she's ever known!
I thought I would send you a few recent photos of Hermes. He is doing great. He is such a sweet dog, and he is doing great in his agility training. His weaves are really coming along, and he will have his first intro trial later in the month.
Jay writes: Hermes is filling out nicely and putting on some good muscle. I will try and get a better profile photo of him, because he has a fabulous tail. We measured him at an AKC event a month or so ago, and he was 15.5” at the shoulder.
I hope all is well with you, your family and all your pups.
I know it's natural for momma dogs and puppies to be separated yet we all know it can't be easy, nature creates a wonderful bond between a mother and her babies and vise versa, not to mention the bond of the litter to one another. Us humans take that for granted because of our need or urge to add a pet to our family lives. Sheila, you took extreme measures of love and nurturing to make sure our lil Madison wouldn't suffer too much separation anxiety from leaving you all and her dog family coming Into our family! Having her crate with the smells of "home" in it w/the towel you laid into it and mostly with her "litter blankie" and stuffed hedge hog toy with all the smells of her doggie momma and siblings on it!! I have no doubt in my heart or mind that having those gestures of love from you made her adjust much quicker to her new family and new home!
Thank you Sheila!! She fits in perfectly here! She sleeps all night having those smells with her at her side! Thank you for caring so much for her until it came time for us to take over for you! You can sleep well at night (like Maddie does) knowing she's so very loved by her new family!! You also made sure to send some of her puppy food, a collar w/leash, & even some chew treats in case we weren't prepared as an extra precaution to make the trip home safer for Maddie! That's real love for these babies!! I promise to keep you updated on her progress and Health as long as you'll let me! She's doing very well with house training & she sits on command for me already! I have to keep saying it, thank you Sheila! I had a perfect dream dog in my mind for years, & it truly is Madison!! I will ALWAYS recommend you to any family member, friend, or even a perfect stranger who asks where I got this gorgeous baby from!! I promise you all of us in my family feels this way!!
(puppy from Princess and Shep) Rebecca writes:....Maggie is now registered as an emotional support dog. She goes everywhere with me...she has really been a blessing to me. I love her so much and wanted to thank you for allowing me to be her "mom".
(puppy from Princess and Shep) Josh writes: She's doing great! She's really smart and a very quick learner.
We did decide on a new name: Sundance. It fits her very well.
Jay writes:
(puppy from Princess and Shep) Hermes is a hoot. He is getting along great with his Sister Gracie, and starting to learn how to play some with Joyjoy.
Sue writes: (Puppy from Yoshi and Shep)
He is the BEST dog ever! Goes potty outside like a champ. Sleeps or plays quietly all night. Active but not crazy-wild! We won the lottery with him!!!!
(puppy from Trixie and Shep) Marie writes: As soon as we pulled up in the driveway and saw your beautiful little adult aussies romping in that impossibly huge yard we knew we were at the right address. We could not believe that none of them barked at us and they all came up to greet us. And by the way, LOVED the wagging tails! From start to finish adopting our new "baby" from you was a wonderful experience. Thank you for being so patient with all of our questions and giving us the crate for the ride home and the huge bag of starter supplies. He settled down with the stuffed toy that had his mama and siblings scent on it and slept the night through, oh and by the way, he is using his wee wee pads in his exercise pen at night so we don't have to get up with him. We are reaping the reward of all the early house training he got from you. I never knew having a new puppy could be this easy. The hardest part is trying to decide on a name!

(puppy from Trixie and Shep)Thor is settling in well. It's apparent that you went above and beyond to prepare this little guy for life on the outside. He's quite the clown and bold to boot! Yet to be rattled by anything he's encountered- from loud noises to kids, he takes it all in stride. He also rides beautifully in the car and actually has the concept of wee wee pads. All the supplies you sent with us have really helped him to make the transition. He likes to climb into his crate and snuggle with the blanket you sent. Thanks for taking the time to ensure he would be an exceptionally happy, healthy pet. I'm thrilled to have him.
Kiley writes: Ozzy is doing wonderful and has really turned into the most loving wonderful dog! Thought I would let you know he's doing Amazing and is super attached to me (:
